Do you need a new receiver?

Please call me for this. We wish to insure you get the correct frequency receiver. In order for this to happen, we must talk first.

Do you need a part for your collar?

Our service parts store is located inside "The UPS Store" at 6709 W 119th St, Overland Park, KS 66209 (Click on the address for a mapped view of our UPS Store location.)

If you need service parts, such as: Batteries, Battery Holders, Battery Doors, Battery Caps, Nylon Replacement Collars/Straps, Contact points (Short, Long and Spring) and Contact Point Retainers, please visit our self-service store inside "The UPS Store" listed above. (This is the only UPS Store location that participates in our program.) Ask the UPS Store employee "May I please have the Pet DeFence service parts box"? The store employee will hand you a box with every service part you could need (with the exception of receivers, transmitters and lightning protectors. Please call me to make an arrangement for receivers, transmitters and lightning protectors). You will find each part priced separately. Please add up your purchases and leave a check in the zippered check pouch. But, please be aware ... THERE ARE NO FREE PARTS. This is an "Honor System". (I trust my customers because they trust me.) After you finish writing your check, please let the UPS Store personnel know you are done. Please note The UPS Store hours are until 6:30 PM M-F and unitl 4 PM Saturday. Closed on Sunday. They set the hours, so if you are unsure, you might call them to verify their closing time that day.

While you are there, consider shipping a package, making copies or rent a mail box.

Your Dog’s Collar Requires Two Batteries

Please purchase batteries for your dog’s collars wherever it is convenient for you. When you purchase your batteries from a retail store, please purchase two (2) of the following batteries: 1/3 N or 2032 or equivalents depending upon which type of battery you need (open your collar to read the number on the battery).

Some places you might find batteries for your dog’s collar:

Battery stores such as: Batteries Plus and Interstate Batteries
Hardware stores: ACE, TrueValue, WestLake, (not Home Depot or Lowe’s)
Some grocery stores such as: Price Chopper, Hy-Vee, etc
The Internet: (Be careful. You get what you pay for.)
Retailers such as: Wal-Mart, Target, K-Mart in the electronics dept.
Drug stores such as: Walgreen’s, CVS, etc… (some stores, some times)
Please avoid RadioShack. They’ve accidentally sold the wrong size battery to a customer causing a problem that voided the warranty.

If you purchase collar batteries from sources other than Pet DeFence, we cannot warrant how long they last. If batteries from other sources die early, please consider purchasing your future batteries from us. My customers tell me that our batteries last longer and therefore cost less in the long run.
